This is a ML-33 Rocking Chair, designed by Hans Wegner for Mikael Laursen in the late 1940s. This example was produced in Denmark in the 1950s. The chair features a solid oak frame that has lots of character, and it has a removable seat pad that is currently upholstered in a brown vinyl material.
The chair measures 30.25 inches deep, 24.25 inches wide, and 30.25 inches high. It has a seat height of 14.75 inches. We have recently had the piece lightly sanded and oiled. There remain signs of age and use, but overall, this chair is in great shape. Please see photos.
